Take a Flying Leap
You have a desire. A dream. A calling. You feel the pull of purpose. It’s big. Intense. Wild even. You’ve done the work. You know your stuff. And yet...there you stand. On the precipice of real, true action... unwilling to move forward.
What are you waiting for? A sign? The perfect moment? All the planets to align and a voice from the heavens to come down to give you the almighty go ahead? Are you waiting to feel sure? To feel ready? To know that you cannot fail?
More often than not, there will be no definitive sign. No moment that is exactly right. No hand of God with an arrow and a booming voice declaring that this is the second to jump into the arms of destiny.
One more class will not prepare you. Another fancy piece of paper won’t make you any more incredible. Those last few pounds don’t hold the key to happiness. The perfect color and right words don’t hold the key to your success. Only you do. You, beginning. You, daring to be seen in the spotlight of your own creation. You, taking a beautiful, amazing, flying leap in the direction of your wildest dreams.
You are scared. I know. It’s ok. This is a big deal. Standing in yourself. Your purpose. Your joy. You don’t want to mess up. But you will. That’s ok too. You’ll learn. You’ll leap some more. You will be surprised by your awesomeness.
You aren’t going to get it all right. There will always be room to grow. To learn. Always space for more love. More creativity. More you. This is not a deficit. It’s the opportunity that will last forever more... one that will allow you to remain engaged in your life in new and unfolding ways.
It’s time to stop with the excuses. You can muster the resources. Carve out the time. Ask for help. Get uncomfortable. Get resourceful. You can know yourself as the marvel you are. You can see yourself as whole. Grounded. Absolutely masterful. There is no longer a reason to say no to yourself.
So leap. BIG. BOLD. Strut your stuff. Don’t turn back. Allow yourself to flail. To fall. To soar to heights that you never even knew existed. Trust that small, calm voice inside that says that you are ready. Trust in what you know to be true... that you were born for this very moment. Take that first step. Don’t stop. The world is waiting!

This arrived on the day that I had made a major life decision to begin to honor myself and my spirit. I had made the decision that I was going to leave a 'good' job that was blocking me from my true self. This was the most beautiful thing I could have laid eyes on. I am so grateful...thank you for believing in me.
