I tend to steer clear of content highlighting politics & religion here but the video above is my response to all the ignorance that has been spewed this week:
Me spreading a little love & truth with the help of my dear friend Jason & the brilliance that is John Lennon.
Some may think that this is naive response but I bring this here today to make more people aware (you know, in case you've been living under a rock or reside in another nation.)
I bring this here today because it's dangerous to have people this uninformed & narrow-minded governing a society.
They are not Pro-Life, they are anti-abortion. It's so obvious with all that has poured out of their mouths this week, that they don't give a shit about life & truth & love.
One good thing about all this is that we are having a national conversation about it, that I hope will continue to enlighten the unaware.
Women are standing up & speaking out.
There have been open letters to Rep. Akin from brave & beautiful women all over the blogosphere, who know the truth like : Eve Ensler + Christa Gallopoulos + Shauna Prewitt : please click with caution, these may be triggering for some.
Also, our President is one class act.
I choose love.
I choose truth.
#ReasonToRise
With Deep Love, Respect & Gratitude,

(No, I don't own the rights to this song & I will take if down if asked but something tells me that I would have John's blessing to use it -- especially under these circumstances -- because it's what he was fighting so hard for too.)

Love it!
Briliant. Love it. Thanks for the happiness in my day ... needed that. Difficult times.
I think the only thing we can do in times like this is raise our voices for love and peace, just like you're doing. And keep on raising them over and over until the chorus is too loud to be drowned out. Thank you for standing up and inspiring love in all you do! And now I see what I'll be doing downtown on Saturday after my Farmer's Market trip!
I read the links and I'm pretty sure another bit of my heart just broke into a million pieces. It saddens me every time I learn how uneducated our society is on the topic of rape. I can only hope to live long enough to see a change. Thank you for sharing this and for fighting back in the loving way that you do. --- Tiffany

You, my dear, are also a class act. I love the video and how you respond to ridiculousness with Bitches, I'm gonna love the heck outta y'all!
Thank you Shawn <3 Wishing you love & light <3
Tis true, the sea of outrage from both sides on social media just gets to be sooo noisy, I start to tune it out... & go to my go-to response...
Eeeee! It's so fun, we had a blast <3 xoxoxo
Tiffany, tough reads, I know... brave souls. We gotta keep raising awareness... I have hope that we will see change, I mean we do, it's just so slow, that you can't REALLY see it now. Thank you for your kind words & for being here <3
Bahahaha, that's right! <3 Love you Janice!
Thank you love! <3!
Beautiful Amanda. So many brave women in the world... and i totally agree. Your President IS a one class act. It's a shame so many people still don't recognize this. Much love to you... xox
Dear Amanda, I have been reading your psot, watching your video and reading the heart breaking stories of the woman mentioned in your post.
I am thankful I live in a country where abortion is legal, and some other "civilized" countries often shock me and worry me. I'm not so much PRO abortion (meaning I do not think it should be taken lightheartedly or as an easy way out. Nobody in our country does by the way, as people in this world seem to think.) but I'm very much against a prohibition of abortion. It should always be possible if circumstances ask for it. (Too long to put details on this but you know what I mean).
Beautiful words from you:
They are not Pro-Life, they are anti-abortion. It's so obvious with all that has poured out of their mouths this week, that they don't give a shit about life & truth & love.
Yes we should all care about life, thruth and love and stop being narrow minded, inform ourselves and the people around us.I think your words and actions are full of love and quite courageous. I hope things will turn out for the best, for the benefit of woman, too often young girls, and for children, who have the right to be conceived in love and with love.Kind regards, or better: all my love for you!Christine/ The Netherlands
Killing Babies is still killing babies no matter what…. no matter how you word it. That's all I have to say.. I just felt the need to voice my opinion from the other side.
I know I'm late to this particular post by months and months. And I'm a male so I will never truly understand the impact of rape. But, I would like to take a moment and speak my mind, compassionately, passionately, and with an eye on "fair is fair". First of all, I'm perfectly fine using the term "anti-abortion" for myself since that's exactly what I am. BUT...in all fairness, let's have more "pro-choice" people use the more appropriate "pro-abortion" when that's their position. My reason for this? I have seen literally dozens of women who make the choice to keep the baby get thrashed and trashed and in one case I witnessed an actual physical assault when the woman opted to keep the baby. And yes, I know some on the anti-abortion side get carried away. For that I apologize, but I would ask you to simply consider, respectfully, that some of us on that side, both male and female, believe that a baby is a baby from the instant of conception. Even when the conception happens in the incredibly traumatic experience of a rape, we believe the baby is a baby. And there are SO many other options to abortion, which we see as infanticide. So...yes, I'll again admit I can't possibly understand the trauma of a rape situation. But I would hope you understand there are people who see (and I'm happy to share resources for this) any and all abortions as an equally horrible and traumatic event. Thanks for allowing me a forum to respectfully comment.
