Tool
It's hard to believe that I've been a Tool fan since 1997, has it really been that long?! Crazy. My taste in music is all over the map. Tool may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love drinking them in. If I had to name one band that shifted my life tremendously, they're it. I, too, wanted to share them with you today as a little precursor to tomorrow's post. (Curious?! Good!) I've seen them a few times... phenomenal, they are in a genre of their own. If this is your cup of tea & you want to experience something amazing... order Lateralus & listen to it all the way through with headphones. Intense. The art featured in these videos is by Alex Grey, probably my favorite artist on the planet, we have his prints hanging all over our house.

Awesome! Glad to remind you! If you use Pandora, the Tool station rocks my socks! Do you dig other heavier bands? A few of favs are The Mars Volta, Deftones, Mastadon, RATM, SOAD... oh gosh, I could go on! Thanks for commenting! xox
I have heard of one or two of those bands, but haven't listened to them...I am a little out of touch with music lately, with the kids making me so busy! I will have to check out the Tool station though, I've liked them since the early 90's (wow, I'm getting old...)
