I am so excited to share this beauty with all of you today. Kate from Your Courageous Life wrote this gorgeous Love Letter to the World last summer. I asked her if she would mind if I made a pretty printable art print using it & she graciously accepted! Every line in the letter is so poignant & true. We really should keep every word of this in our hearts as we look out into the world & also when we look inside ourselves. I have this printed, framed & hanging next to my kitchen sink as my reminder. Thank you Kate!

Enjoy!

Thank you... I deal with people (myself included) with one or more of these traits every single day. This is a beautiful reminder.

Passing on to teaching colleagues that see many of these every day.  An excellent reminder to also give these to myself.

Wow.  This is wonderful, powerful and inspiring with its compassion.  I'm looking forward to printing it out at work and sticking it to my wall there... I suspect it's going to be a great conversation starter for people who walk by my desk - thank you so much for sharing it!

I believed this, I tried with every moment to live this... and then a dear, dear friend died and I held onto her by making her pesimism my own. I am so sad now because I miss her so, but also so much joy is missing from how I see the world.
Thank you, I will try to open my heart to that loss and find my way back to what she termed my "superfluous idealism".
Much love, Hannah

This is how I was raised.  I have been trying to change my surroundings for years only to find others are ready and waiting to take over the control and not live love.  Children do live what they learn and it is hard to break that insecurity.  For now I have social anxiety, always second guessing my words and actions.  No one to be me with.
Growning up - why are you so nice to them????????????
Don't be hard on them?????????????????
Never good enough, but everyone else was judged good and bad...how do I know how to act in this world?
I am me and don't know when I will be set free.
I found my true love, yet I still do not do well in life.
I wish I knew these feelings were forever.
All I can say is I brought my children up in a positive way.
I feel we did good.
I am that child in your poem.
