Kind Over Matter Potted Plant Printable - PDF
Note: When folding your base, fold it in half once & then fold the two sides up toward the middle.
Ever since Erin posted about these amazing freestanding house plant props from FOOL I haven't been able to get them out of my head. Like her & like I told her, plants just dislike me, they don't want to live with me. Period. I grew & nourished a baby but plants... forget it. My thumb is so far from green, I've had WHOLE gardens fail on me, like, I planted a whole vegetable garden, the works & reaped none of the harvest because... F.A.I.L.
With my better half being laid-off recently we're on a tight budget, so I thought I'd better just try my hand at making my own paper plant, not nearly as big & lovely as Chelsea’s but hey, one is sitting in my kitchen window & it makes me smile so I'd thought I'd share it with all you.
Maybe you'd like to make it & share it with someone else :)
Enjoy!

So cute...btw I love the little "love" wire sitting on top of the jar next to your "plant"! Adorable and simple!
aww this is great, I'm going to make one for my office right now, thank you!
Jen - Thank you, my mom made it for me, along with "hope" & "be kind" I just love them!
Melissa - Ahhhhh, that is so awesome! I hope you all enjoy it! <3
This is genius! Thank you for allowing those with a non-green thumb to bring some plants into their home!
I spend a lot of time with people who are immune suppressed and one of the things they cannot have are plants. Nope, no plants. I was truly in love with those geraniums, too, and I was thinking of ways to try to make them easy for my friends to make and put in their homes -- but this is fabulous!! I don't have to strain my brain any longer :) thank you!
Michelle - Thank you!!! My pleasure!
Kirby - Oh, that is soooo wonderful, that thought didn't even cross my mind, now, when I think of them, I will always remember this comment, so glad to help you out!
Update - I printed out 10 plants and gave them out yesterday to my immune suppressed friends. They loved them. Thank You Thank You!!

This is a great idea! I'm about to go back to college and I'm planning on using this since I tend to be a death sentence for any plants. I posted a link to this on my blog today in my "Dream Dorm Room" post. Thanks again!
